It's Fiesta Time Again!

We are currently working on a new website, but for now, any information can still be found here.

CASA Connor with its Mexican partner, Pasitos de Luz, is proud to announce that the groundbreaking ceremony occurred on April 4 in Puerto Vallarta. Currently the services are being marked out and we hope to begin building in September of this year.
We really appreciate your support and we hope to see you all at one of the following fundraising events:

September 10, 2011
Radium's 6th annual Mexican Fiesta will be held once again at Radium Valley Vacation Resort, hosted generously be the owner, Wayne Holmgren. The doors will open at 5:30, with dinner served at 6:30. Tickets are available at the front office or by calling (250)347-9715 and are priced at $20.00.

September 24, 2011
Calgary's 4th annual Mexican Fiesta will be held at Calgary Christian High School, 5029 26 ave SW. Registration begins at 5:30 with dinner served at 6:30. Tickets for this event are available by calling Geraldine at (403)249-6710 or Teena at (403)875-0307 and are also priced at $20.00.

And the Calgary total is.....

Just over $27,000.00!!

Thank-you so much to all the people who attended the Fiesta, those who spent soooo many hours volunteering their precious time, and those who gave donations.

Peter and Teena leave for Puerto Vallarta on October 8, and we hope to get things rolling as soon as possible. Check back often to see where things are at!

UPDATE and Fiesta 2010 dates

Well, it's been a while. The land that we were given is still a little up in the air (Mexican government stuff...), but we are really hoping to begin building in October. With your help we have currently raised over $90,000.00. That is quite amazing! We are also diligently working ot obtaining charitable status, and we'll let you know once we have received it.

The Fiesta dates are as follows:

Radium:
Sept 10 and 11

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!

As of December 24, 2009, CASA Connor is the proud owner of a piece of property in Mojoneras (just outside of Puerto Vallarta). There is a picture on this website a few entries ago. We feel so very blessed...let the building begin!!!
